Spring Plant ID & Foraging [$35]

  • Darlin Creek Preserve 8998 Lake Lucinda Drive Southwest Olympia, WA, 98512 United States (map)

Have you ever wondered what plants you could forage for and eat? During this plant-focused class at Darlin Creek Preserve, we'll do a slow-moving walk through the trails identifying and learning spring weather staples as we go.

In addition to learning about new plants, we'll touch on the main points of honorable harvesting and ways you can be a community and sustainability-minded local forager. We'll also share our favorite resources we use for learning more about local wild edibles.

This workshop will be led by naturalists Ryan Johnson and Licia Sahagun of Firecraft Northwest.
