Course Description
Tuition: $40.00
If your journey into handmade wood carving has already begun, this is the workshop for you!
In this session, led by woodworker and outdoor guide Ryan Johnson, you’ll have access to interesting woods, spoon, spreader, and spatula templates, tools, and the guidance of an experienced veteran to direct your questions.
The course will be small, capped at 6 participants and the instructor. The format of this program will be less formal. You’ll receive guidance on creating your own project and have access to the tools and materials you need so you can move at your own pace. We’ll introduce intermediate and advanced techniques throughout the class.
This session is recommended for carvers who have taken a woodworking class with Ryan or other instructors before and have an understanding of basic techniques. We’ll expand on those and help you hone ( hee hee) your form and final aesthetic of your projects.
If time permits, you may begin additional projects of your choice!
Parking is available at the Center. If the lot is full, please find parking next door at Fairhaven Park.
