During this 2 hour educational session & nature walk, join Naturalist & Wilderness Educator Ryan Johnson to learn how to identify the native plants growing around the Chuckanut Center. We’ll cover key species of our Temperate Rain Forest and more to get you started in your discovery of species throughout our region. We will even learn a handful of plants that are safe to eat! At the end of class, Ryan will recommend books and other resources to help fuel your adventure in learning about botany and wild plants!
