Name that Flower! Plant & Flower ID at Hazel Wetlands Preserve

  • Hazel Wolf Wetlands Preserve 24733 248th Avenue Southeast Sammamish, WA, 98075 United States (map)

Amble through the 117 acres (trail is 1 mile) of wetland and upland forest at Hazel Wolf Wetlands Preserve where flowers are blooming everywhere. Plants will be bursting with spring growth and we’ll look for clues on how to identify them.

We’ll explore the differences between wetland plants and upland forest species and learn which animals find the new growth tasty to nibble on. With Mother’s Day a week away, consider making this a family outing.

This outing is free thanks to a partnership with Forterra Nature Discovery™. RSVP is required - please register on Forterra’s website here.
