Intro to Nature Journaling | June 12 | 6:30-8:30 PM
Join Licia Sahagun, lifelong artist and nature nerd, from Firecraft Northwest for a quiet evening of noticing. We’ll start the evening with some hot tea, new friends, and a discussion of nature journaling. Then we’ll practice a few short journaling activities before we disperse into the woods/beachfront for a solitary nature journaling session.
We’ll wrap up with an (optional) gallery walk to see what our fellow journalers noticed/sketched/painted this evening!
Please bring with you:
Journal, note pad, and/or pieces of paper (we’ll do a few activities in addition to nature journaling if you’d like to bring a separate notebook or pages that you don’t want in your nature journal)
Writing utensil
Art supplies - paints, crayons, markers, etc. (optional if you’d like)
Mug or thermos for tea (optional if you’d like tea)
Dress for the weather - if raining - rain jacket, sit pad, etc. if desired (see above)
