During this outing, walk the Scatter Creek Wildlife Area to learn and study the Spring wildflowers and plants blooming in this incredible habitat.

This plant-focused walk will be a flat, easy meander along the trails of the prairie. We will stop frequently to study plants and wildflowers, learning their names, ethnobotany, history, and ecology. Participants will learn relevant botany basics and useful terminology.

Registered participants will receive an email leading up to the event with information about the outing and where to park within this conservation unit to meet up with the group.
