Spalted Walnut Spoon Pair!
Stunning, durable, spalted walnut spoon pair! These two are closely matching in shape, and can be used as large eating spoons or serving spoons!
The spoons are hand carved with knife and axe from Black Walnut sourced in Whatcom County (wood sourced from Gary Cassera). Both are finished with walnut oil.
Hand wash only. This project was knife finished, no sandpaper.
This design was inspired and (and then slightly modified) by carver Nick Murphy.
